Belinda Ann White Ervin

Cremation arrangements for Belinda Ann White Ervin, 72, of Kilgore are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home. Belinda completed her earthly journey on March 27, 2023, at her home in Kilgore surrounded by her loving family.

Belinda was born on July 12, 1950, in New Orleans, LA, to Myrtle Mae Green and Willie White. She attended C B Dansby school and was a proud member of the graduating class of 1968. Belinda was very driven; she was an extremely hard-working woman. She did not depend on anyone; Belinda believed if you want something you go out and get it yourself. She retired from working as a certified nurse at Stone Road Nursing Home and as a hospitality representative at Ramada Inn after fifty years of employment. Belinda was a devoted Christian and attended Westview Church of Christ. She lived in Kilgore for over seventy years and was a beloved member of the community. Belinda’s hobbies included crocheting blankets, gardening, and working in the yard. She adored cooking and made Thanksgiving along with Christmas dinner for her family every year. Belinda was a loving partner, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Alberina Wheat (Eugene) and Angelia Mumphrey (Adrian) of Kilgore; three sisters, Sabrina White, Barbarella Wallace and Betty White; one brother, Maurie Ray White of Dallas; grandchildren, Ka’Reya Ervin of Dallas, Eu’Reka Wheat Chaffa (Kevin) of Tyler, Deiontrae Wheat, Adrian Horacio Mumphrey Jr. and Ayden Gionni Mumphrey of Kilgore; three great-grandchildren Autumn Wheat, Kingstin Wheat, and Sawyer Wheat; special friend Henry; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Belinda was reunited with her parents, Willie, and Myrtle White; brothers Aubridale White and Marvin Wayne White and sister Pamela White.
