Bonnie Gibson

July 16, 1943 — August 25, 2022

Graveside services for Bonnie Gibson, 79 of Kilgore will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2022 at Crims Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Mark Fried and Pat Monk officiating. Mrs. Gibson passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022, in Longview. Family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.

Bonnie was born on July 16, 1943 in Mexia, Texas to the late Doyle Dee Williams and Bessie Velma Sherod. Mrs. Gibson was a longtime member of Forest Home Baptist Church. Bonnie enjoyed always taking care of her family when needed and was always there for her grandkids. She enjoyed crafting and creating, painting, teaching and reading her Bible. Mrs. Gibson was always willing to learn and try something new. She volunteered her time at GA camp and the church library. Bonnie was a Sunday school teacher, training union teacher, GA teacher, Mission friend’s teacher, VBS teacher and childrens church teacher. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend who will be missed by all that knew her.

Bonnie was reunited with her parents and brothers, Lonnie Williams, Billy Williams and Carlton Williams.

Left to cherish her memory her husband of 62 years, Howard E. Gibson of Kilgore; daughters, Janie Oliver and husband Don of Longview and Tammy Stegall and husband Scott of Kilgore; siblings, Joyce Nichols of Longview, Glenn Williams of Kilgore, Rogers Williams of New Braunfels, June Cloud of Longview, Glenda Waller of Longview, Robbie Hushbeck of Tulsa, Ok and Jo Ann Burnett of Austin; grandchildren, Janey White and husband Scott of Harleton, Sissie McCluskey and husband Christopher of Longview, Matthew Walden and wife Whitney of New Diana, Thomas Walden and wife Whitley of Gilmer, Daniel Oliver of Gilmer, David Oliver of Kilgore and Linda Maxwell and husband John of Plano; great grandchildren, Dakota, Arnell, Tyler, Toby, Tristan, Scarlett, Rhaghan, Aralyn, Tex, Hank and Charli; rainbow great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other loving family members.
