Carl Tracy Stevens. Sr.

Mr. Tracy Stevens, Sr., 68, of Paris, formerly of Turnertown, completed his earthly journey surrounded by his family on Sunday, August 30, 2020. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. The family will hold a memorial graveside at a later date.
Tracy was born on October 24, 1951 to Carl and Bettie Lois Stevens. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam conflict. He worked as a driller in the oil and gas industry until his health declined. Tracy enjoyed gun collecting, target shooting and was a lifetime member of the NRA. He also enjoyed riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Tracy was a Christian and had a faith that encouraged his family during his final days. He was a very active father and grandfather and his family was the source of his strength and spending time with them was when he was happiest.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Carl Tracy Stevens, Jr and his life partner Brooke Prescott of Paris, Kelly Smith and her husband Robert of Glen Rose; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Stevens, Trace Stevens, Hunter Stevens, Ashton Smith and Fisher Smith; siblings, David Stevens and his wife Roxanne of Beckville, Vickie Owen and her husband David of Turnertown, Sheila Thompson and her husband Ronnie of Henderson and the mother of his children, Pam Garr of Hico. Also, left to carry on his legacy are numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loving family members.
Tracy is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tony Stevens.
