Coila Ann Cox

Services for Coila Cox, 67 of Liberty City, will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 8, 2021 at First Baptist Church Liberty City with Dr. Rev. Paul Michael Vacca officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Cemetery. Coila completed her earthly journey on Thursday, November 4, 2021, in Longview, Texas. Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Sunday afternoon at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.

Mrs. Cox was born on December 27, 1953 in Borger, Texas to the late Robert Kallenberger and Corinne McCauley Kallenberger. Coila graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK and was a member of First Baptist Church in Liberty City where she played piano for services until she retired three years ago.. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother who will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Coila enjoyed hobbies like camping, reading, playing the piano and being around her grandchildren. She taught upper level math for close to 28 years because she loved teaching and loved her students.

Coila was preceded in death by her parents and son, Chad Cox.

Left to cherish her memory are husband of 46 years, Kim Cox of Liberty City; sons, Rusty Cox and wife Whitney of Melissa, Texas, Randy Cox and wife Tonya of Liberty City; sisters, Cheryl Kallenberger of Liberty City and Cynthia Parker and husband Randy of Bixby, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Paxton Cox, Mackey Cox, Kirby Cox, Shepherd Cox, Neeley Cox, Drew Cox, Jake Cox and Micah Cox; sister-in-law, Kathy Cox of Tulsa, Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other loving family members.
