Services for Dorothy Louise Womack “Lou” Armitage, 88, of Kilgore will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Father’s House Church with Reverend Billy Ray Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery in Troup, TX off FM 15. Mrs. Armitage passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in Kilgore.

Dorothy was born April 29, 1930 in Troup, Texas to the late Rubert Andrew Womack and Dorothy Virginia Wilson. Dorothy was a lifelong follower of Jesus Christ and worked for Walmart in Kilgore. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Mrs. Armitage is survived by her sons, Mark Armitage and wife Missy of Winona, Ricky G. Armitage of Karnack, Texas and Roger Dale McMillan and wife Cheryl of Tatum; sisters, Athene Farrel and husband Rex of Frankston, Helen Johnson and husband Ted of Troup and Lynn Sammons and husband Tim of Dallas; brothers, Ray Womack and wife Louise of Bullard, Bobby Womack and wife Stephanie of Troup and George Womack and wife Betty of Longview; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Friday evening between 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
