Mike Weed

Memorial visitation services for Mike Weed, 67, of Lake Cherokee will be 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2022 at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mr. Weed passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at his residence.

Mike was born on December 25, 1954 in Lubbock, Texas to Kenneth Weed and Joyce Cole. Mr. Weed retired from Union Pacific railroad as a track inspector. Mike enjoyed fishing on Lake Cherokee, playing golf and pranking family and friends. Mike was a loving and caring father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Molly Weed and mother, Joyce Weed.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Luke Weed and wife Hannah of Lake Cherokee; daughter, Cody Weed of Longview; father, Kenneth Weed of White Oak; brother, Kyron Weed of Longview; sister, Preeta Weed of Longview; grandchildren, Jayci Futch, Danyelle Davis, Castor Weed and Molly Weed; great grandchild, Gio as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
