Walter Neil Langham, Jr

Walter Neil Langham, Jr., 64, of Kilgore, completed his earthly journey on Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Kilgore. A Celebration of Life will be held in his memory in a private ceremony for family and friends. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.

Walter was born on August 1, 1957, in Matagorda to Rev. Walter and Barbara Langham. Sr. He was a member of the West Rusk High School Class of 1975. He graduated from Kilgore College, Stephen F. Austin State University and received his Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Tyler. Walter faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force as a cryptologic linguist. He enjoyed technology and could usually be found on his computer. His family was very important to him and he will be greatly missed by them.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Laura Cook and her husband James of Kilgore; niece, Skye Toles of McKinney; uncle and aunt, Alan and Peggy Gilchrist of Fort Davis; cousins, Steven Gilchrist, and Cherri Northcutt and her husband Dan of Katy, and their children Dani and Natalie Northcutt of Katy. Also, left to carry on his legacy are friends, and other loving family members.

Walter was reunited with his parents.

Memorials may be sent to local animal shelters, Humane Society or ASPCA.
