Wanda Wheeler

Wanda Wheeler, 85, of Kilgore passed away on October 2, 2020. Mrs. Wheeler wished to be cremated and no services will be held at this time.

Wanda was born on July 21, 1935 in Mineola to James Phillip Humphrey and Mary Elizabeth Humphrey where she attended public school. Wanda worked as a cook for Western Foundry in Tyler for many years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church and enjoyed cooking. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Marty Wheeler; sisters, Francis Dwire and Sue Pruitt; and a brother William Humphrey.

Wanda is survived by her daughters, Linda Worsham and husband Bobby and Teresa Everts and husband Terry both of Kilgore; son, Ricky Wheeler of Kilgore; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The family wants a special thank you to Pam, Jennifer, and Ty with Choice Hospice for their caring and compassionate care of Wanda during her illness.
