Aaron Lee Smith

Aaron Lee Smith, 76, of Kilgore passed away Monday, November 25, 2024, in Kilgore surrounded by family. Aaron was born August 8, 1948, in Kilgore to the late Charles Ray Smith and Lillie Marie Dixon Smith.

 Aaron worked in the East Texas Oilfield for many years before retiring. He was dedicated and hardworking, always willing to help. He enjoyed traveling, truck races, watching old westerns and Star Trek. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his three children Brian Smith and wife Carrie, Aaron Smith, Jr. and wife Kristal and Rena Smith: half-brother Bobby Lynn Wilson; wife of 18 years and mother of his children Barbara Davis; three grandsons Tony Sprayberry, Jamie Lee Smith, James Aaron Smith as well as many other loving family and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home. The family will have a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
