Albert Glenn Samuel Knight

Services for Mr. Albert Knight, 65, of Kilgore will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2022, at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. David Hampton officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 Thursday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Knight passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022, in Kilgore.

Mr. Knight was born on August 21, 1957, in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late John R. Coley and Betty Ruth Gonzales. He served in the United States Navy from November 1975 until October 1979 on the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy. Albert worked as a Chef for many years in the food industry. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and received great joy from spending time with his family and will be missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughters, Diana Knight and Virginia “Jenny” Knight.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Virginia S. Knight of Logansport, Louisiana; daughters, Stella Finch and husband Jason of Logansport, Louisiana, Betty Knight of Kilgore, Martha Lakey and husband Jason of Kilgore and Stephanie Knight and Fiancé Chris Gray of Logansport, Louisiana; grandchildren, Angela, Alissa, Alexis, Blayne, Kylee, Michael, Brayden, Curtis, Donaven, Jimmy, Lillyanna, Colton and Hayden and eight great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, John and Betty Stockholm and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.
