Albino Rosas

March 1, 1927 — September 15, 2023

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Kilgore with Father Luis Pena as the Celebrant. Burial will immediately follow the Mass at Danville Cemetery in Kilgore. A rosary will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore from seven until nine o’clock in the evening. Albino completed his earthly journey on Friday, September 15, 2023, at his home in Kilgore.

Albino was born in El Olivo, Ciudad De Maiz, San Luis Potois on March 1, 1927, to Cayetano Rosas and Ines Cedillo. Mr. Rosas was extremely hard-working. He was a farmer for numerous years before his retirement. Albino loved his family deeply and was his happiest when spending time with his loved ones. His hobbies included playing harmonica, singing, barbecuing, and most of all playing with his grandchildren. Albino was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Tobias Rosas and wife Sofia of Kilgore, Lina Rosas and husband Angel of Kilgore, Francisco Rosas and wife Dora of Kilgore, Alejandro Rosas and wife Lori of Kilgore, Rufina Rosas and husband Margaro of Mexico, Prisco Rosas and wife Susana of Kilgore, Candida Rosas and husband Alberto of Kilgore, Baciliza Rosas and husband Jose, and special granddaughter Maria Cruz Chaves of Pittsburg; twenty-nine grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving friends and family members.

Albino is preceded in death by his parents, wife of fifty-seven years Justa Vasquez, siblings, granddaughter Yazmin Cedillo and grandson Jackson Rosas.

La Misa exequial será el martes 19 de septiembre de 2023 en la iglesia Católica de Cristo Rey en (Kilgore) y será presidida por el P. Luis Peña. Inmediatamente después de la celebración de la Eucaristía nos dirigiremos al cementerio de Danville (Kilgore) donde concluiremos con los ritos exequiales. El rezo del santo Rosario, por el eterno descanso de Albino Rosas, será el lunes 18 de septiembre de 2023 en Rader Funeral Home (Kilgore) a las 7:00 pm seguido por velación hasta las 9:00 pm. Albino concluyó su viaje terrenal el viernes 15 de septiembre, en su casa ubicada en Kilgore.

Albino nació en El Olivo, Ciudad De Maiz, San Luis Potosi, hijo de Cayetano Rosas e Inés Cedillo. El señor Rosas fue extremadamente trabajador; se dedicó a la agricultora durante muchos años antes de jubilarse. Albino amaba profundamente a su familia y llenaba su corazón de felicidad el estar en compañía de sus seres queridos. Algunos de los pasatiempos de Albino tocar la armónica, cantar, hacer barbacoas y, sobre todo, jugar con sus nietos. Albino fue un esposo devoto esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo y tatarabuelo. Todos aquellos que tuvimos el placer de conocerlo lo extrañaremos y su recuerdo permanecerá por siempre en nuestros corazones.

Los familiares que continúan compartiendo su legado son sus hijos Tobias Rosas y su esposa Sofía de Kilgore, Lina Rosas y su esposo Angel de Kilgore, Francisco Rosas y su esposa Dora de Kilgore, Alejandro Rosas y su esposa Lori de Kilgore, Rufina Rosas y su esposo Margaro de México, Prisco Rosas. y esposa Susana de Kilgore, Candida Rosas y esposo Alberto de Kilgore, Baciliza Rosas y esposo José, y nieta especial Maria Cruz Chaves de Pittsburg; veintinueve nietos, veintitrés bisnietos, quince tataranietos y numerosas sobrinas, sobrinos, primos y otros queridos amigos y familiares.

A Albino le precedieron en su encuentro con el Señor sus padres, su esposa durante cincuenta y siete años, Justa Vásquez, sus hermanos, su nieta Yazmín Cedillo y su nieto Jackson Rosas.
