Amparo Hernandez~ Martinez

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, at one o’clock in the afternoon at Christ the King Catholic Church in Kilgore with Father Luis Pena as the Celebrant. Interment will immediately follow at Danville Cemetery in Kilgore. A rosary will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore at six o’clock in the afternoon. Amparo Hernandez Martinez completed her earthly journey on April 14, 2023, in Overton at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Amparo was born on May 15, 1935, in Guanajuato, Mexico to Isaac Hernandez and Juana Martinez. She worked in sales for many years and even owned her own store in Mexico. Amparo was a faithful Catholic, she devoted her life to the Lord. She began every day in prayer. Amparo enjoyed spending time with family and friends, attending mass, listening to music from the old days, gardening and telling jokes. Amparo adored animals especially birds, cats, and dogs. She was kind and compassionate women. Amparo spent much of her time helping others in need. She was always willing to listen to others and give them advice. Amparo was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Left to cherish Amparo’s memory are her daughter Norma Hernandez and husband Francisco Martinez Sr brothers, J.Guadalupe Hernández Martinez, Gregorio Hernández Martinez, Juan Hernández Martinez, and Jesus Hernández Martinez, grandchildren, Alma Viridiana Martinez, Brenda Elizabeth Martinez, Francisco Martinez Jr., and Francisco Martinez, special friends, the Molina family, Galván family, Muñiz family, Rodriguez family, Mata family, Duarte family, Bolaños family, Teresa López and numerous others in Mexico.

Amparo is preceded in death by her parents Isaac Hernandez and Juana Martinez, and her husband Antonio Ordaz Macías.

La Misa de Cristiana Sepultura se llevará a cabo el viernes 21 de abril de 2023 a la una de la tarde en la Iglesia Católica Christ the King en Kilgore con el Padre Luis Pena como Celebrante. El entierro seguirá inmediatamente en el cementerio de Danville en Kilgore. Se realizará un rosario el jueves 20 de abril de 2023 en Rader Funeral Home en Kilgore a las seis de la tarde. Amparo Hernández Martínez completó su viaje terrenal el 14 de abril de 2023 en Overton en su casa rodeada de su amada familia.

Amparo nació el 15 de mayo de 1935 en Guanajuato, México, hija de Isaac Hernández y Juana Martínez. Trabajó en ventas durante muchos años e incluso fue dueña de su propia tienda en México. Amparo fue una fiel católica, dedicó su vida al Señor. Comenzaba cada día en oración. Amparo disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos, ir a misa, escuchar música de antaño, hacer jardinería y contar chistes. Amparo adoraba a los animales, especialmente a las aves, gatos y perros. Era una mujer amable y compasiva. Amparo pasó gran parte de su tiempo ayudando a otros necesitados. Siempre estaba dispuesta a escuchar a los demás y darles consejos. Amparo fue una querida madre, abuela y amiga. Todos los que tuvieron el placer de conocerla la extrañarán mucho.
