April Celeste Hearn

A Celebration of Life for April Celeste Hearn, 42, of Kilgore, will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021, at 2pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until 2 pm prior to the service. April completed her earthly journey on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in Dallas surrounded by her family.

April was born on December 27, 1978, in Longview to Matt and Mary Hearn. She was a member of the Kilgore High School Class of 1997. April obtained her Associates degree from Kilgore College in 2016. She was employed with Christus Good Shepherd in Longview. April loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed camping, hanging out at the lake, traveling, singing karaoke, reading and horror movies. April was an excellent cook and she enjoyed cooking for others. April will be greatly missed for her kindness and generosity to others. She will be remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and friend.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 12 years, Bryan Smitha of Kilgore; son Hunter James Smitha; parents, Matt Hearn and his wife Cheryl of Harleton, Mary Hearn of Kilgore, sister, Niesy Bevilacqua and her husband Jimmy of Kountze; in-laws, Steven and Martha Smitha of Tyler. Also, left to carry on her legacy are numerous cousins, friends, and other loving family members.
