Services for Aralyn “Bunny” Faith Walden, 13, of Diana, Texas will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at ten o’clock in the morning at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with Reverend Bill Blanks officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from six until eight o’clock in the evening at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. She will be laid to rest immediately after the service at Rock Springs Cemetery in Gladewater, Texas. After 5,066 days, she won the battle. Aralyn went home to the arms of Jesus on June 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Aralyn is the daughter of Whitney and Matt Walden. She was born on July 26, 2010, in Longview, Texas. One of five children, Aralyn, did not spend a day of her life without experiencing and sharing total joy and love. This ray of sunshine was little sister to Rhagan and big sister to Tex, Hank and Charli. Aralyn enjoyed school, she attended New Diana Independent School District and just completed the sixth grade. She received the best dressed and best hair award each year, “Bunny” was truly the star of the show. Throughout Aralyn’s life she fought and overcame countless battles. Regardless of what battle Aralyn was fighting she lit up every room that she strolled into. Her contagious cackle brought joy to all within earshot. Of course, her sass and notorious side-eye cannot be forgotten. This precious girl is dearly missed and will forever remain in the heart of all who experienced the pleasure of knowing her.
Left to cherish Bunny’s memory are her parents Matt and Whitney Walden of Diana, siblings Rhagan, Tex, Hank, Charli Walden and fur-siblings Deets and Chicken Walden, grandparent Todd & Debora Tucker of Kilgore, Shauna Gage of Kilgore, Scott and Tammy Stegall of Kilgore, great-grandparents Wilora Tucker of Kilgore, Howard Gibson of Kilgore, Frank and Debbie Rigg of Long Lane, MO, Jean Walden of Longview, and Robert and Barbara Yglesias of Palmetto Bay, Florida, aunts and uncles, Michael and Kiya Sampson of Kilgore, Tom and Whitley Walden of Gilmer, John and Linda Maxwell of Dallas, Cody Tucker of Kilgore, Josh and Rebecca Gage of Diana, Jacob and Robin Gage of Hutto, Johnathan and Julie Gage of Kilgore, Kate Yglesias of Kilgore, Chris and Laci Britton of Kilgore, and James and Britani Britton of Longview. Along with many adoring friends, teachers, cousins, nurses, therapists and other loving family members.
Bunny is reunited with her Pawpaw Wendell Tucker, Big Papa Clarence Gage, Nana Bonnie Gibson, Grandy Andrew Gilley, Nanny Betty Darby and her dog Lexington Beatrice.
Aralyn is now whole and healed playing amongst the Angels.
