Cremation arrangements for Arnold Seaborn West Sr., 81, of Kilgore are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday September 5th from 5-7 o’clock in the evening at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Arnold completed his earthly journey on Wednesday August 30, 2023, in Longview, Texas surrounded by loved ones.

Arnold was born on July 11, 1942, in Monroe, Louisiana to Lola Anabelle Rawls West and Clifton Seaborn West. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines from 1959-1963. In 1962, Arnold married the love of his life, Patsy Redmond. During their time together the two established a loving home for their family. The pair had three sons: Arnold, Duane, and Darren. Arnold worked in communications and was owner of West Communication Services. Being an avid outdoorsman, Arnold delighted in hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his sons; Arnold Seaborn West Jr (Angie) of Kilgore, Larry Duane West (Tammy) of Longview, and William Darren West (Traci) of Nacogdoches; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, prior- spouse and lifetime friend Patsy Walsh, two sisters; Margie (Thad) Dilday and Karen Renee Smith, and many nephews and nieces. All of whom were loved dearly by Arnold.

He is reunited in passing with his father Clifton West, mother Lola Rawls West, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and countless beloved family members and friends.
