Bennie Sharp

Graveside services for Mr. Bennie Sharp, 77, of Chalk Hill will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Chalk Hill Cemetery with Reverend Ted White officiating. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Mr. Sharp passed away at his home on Saturday.

Bennie was born on April 22, 1943 in Gladewater. He was the son of the late Rufus and Minnie Bell Sharp. Bennie was a longtime employee of East Texas Saltwater Disposal in Kilgore, retiring after 40 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and searching for arrowheads.

Bennie is survived by his wife of 58 years, Loretta Sharp of Chalk Hill; daughters, Rhonda Brewer and husband Ronnie of Longview and Tammy Bynum and husband Patrick of Dallas; brother, Horace Sharp of Dallas; sister, Betty Rhodes of Mt. Vernon; three grandchildren, Brandi Aga and husband Josh of Gladewater, Zachary Cooper of Anna, and Tiffany Cooper of Dallas; two great-grandsons, Nathan Aga and Ethan Aga; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
