Betty Jean Kimbley, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024, at the age of 86, in Longview, Texas. Born on November 30, 1938, in Lufkin, Texas, Betty was a beacon of warmth and kindness, touching the lives of so many throughout her journey.

As a woman of deep faith, Betty held her church dear to her heart and firmly believed in the power of prayer. Her steadfast devotion was evident in her daily life, as she found joy and strength in reading her Bible. Betty was not only a source of spiritual guidance for her family and friends, but she also embodied unconditional love, making everyone she encountered feel special and valued.

Betty's legacy is one of love and devotion. She enjoyed every moment spent with her beloved family, embracing the joys and challenges of being a wife and mother. She shared 53 beautiful years with her husband, David Lee Kimbley, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a remarkable life filled with love and laughter. Betty will forever be remembered for her nurturing spirit and the countless ways she enriched the lives of those around her.

She is survived by her children, Charles Kimbley and his wife Penny of Quinlan, TX, Debra Willingham of Tyler, and David Kimbley and his wife Sabrina of Kilgore and Kristy Kimbley and her fiancé Robert Bean, both from Henderson. Betty's legacy continues through her 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, who were fortunate to know her love and affection. She is also survived by her siblings: Wayne Jordan, Margie Burns, Roy Jordan, Sharron Johnson, and Clarence Jordan, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will fondly remember their sweet Aunt Betty.

Betty was welcomed into the arms of the Lord, alongside her parents, Clarence and Clara Jordan, and her daughter, Branda Hand and twins, Kim and Kelly Kimbley. She also rejoins her beloved sisters, Nola Jordan and Argilee Hamlett, as well as brothers Walter, Jimmy, Steve, and Kenneth Jordan.

A visitation will be held in her honor on January 2, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rader Funeral Home located at 401 North Martin Street, Kilgore, TX, 75662. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same location at 2:00 PM offering an opportunity for loved ones to gather together to celebrate Betty's extraordinary life.

Betty Jean Kimbley will be profoundly missed but will forever remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Her unwavering love, kind spirit, and profound faith will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
