Betty Sue Hale

Graveside services for Betty Hale, 89, of Kilgore will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Danville Cemetery with Rev. David Hampton officiating under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Mrs. Hale passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 in Tyler

Betty was born on March 6, 1934 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Cecil E. and Ida Mae (Drach) Sanders. Mrs. Hale was member of First Baptist Church in Kilgore. She cherished her family and especially her grandchildren. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who will be missed by all that knew her.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert F. Hale; daughter, Cathy Sechrist and sisters, Ruby Elliott and Ida Meadows.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Moore and husband Ken of Van, Texas; son, Kenneth Hale and girlfriend Pamela McKenzie of Kilgore; son-in-law, Jeff Sechrist of Kilgore; grandchildren, Johnette Ashby, Juston Bryan, Jared Bryan, Jordan Bryan and Morgan Hale; eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
