Blake Allen Johnson
Services for Blake Allen Johnson, 29, of Kilgore will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at two o’clock in the afternoon at Danville Cemetery in Kilgore officiated by Roy Metcalf. Visitation hours will be from six until eight o’clock in the evening on Friday, March 11, 2022, at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Blake completed his earthly journey on March 3, 2022, in Longview surrounded by his loving family.
Blake Allen Johnson was born on August 2, 1992, in Tyler, to Shannon Johnson and Jacob Ball. He was a proud Kilgore Bulldog and graduated from Kilgore High School in 2011. Blake loved football especially the LSU Tigers and Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed watching westerns and Star Wars, playing video games, and spending time with his family. Blake always made people laugh by walked like an Egyptian, telling everyone exactly how the “cow ate the cabbage,” and giving his brother a hard time. He also adored spending time with his nieces, nephews, and stepsister. Blake spent countless hours spending quality time with his mom and on weekend run arounds with his dad. Blake was greatly loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is reunited with his grandfather, Randy Beets, great-grandmother, Helen Stewart, uncle, Rodney Grice, and uncle, Johnathan Johnson.
Blake is survived by his parents, Shannon Johnson and Jacob Ball of Kilgore, siblings, brother, Chase Stewart and wife Olivia Sickler of Longview, brother, James Smith and wife Camille Smith of White Oak, sister, Brittni Burris and significant other Justin Copeland of Kilgore, brother Nathan Ball of Kilgore, brothers Stephen Ball and Bradley Ball of Oklahoma, sister Destiny Ball of Kilgore, grandmother, Cathy Beets of Gladewater, grandmother, Diane Ball of White House, grandmother Barbara Davis of Kilgore, grandparents, Kathy Stewart and Jimmy Stewart of Hughes Springs, Brian and Carrie Smith of Longview, aunt, Rhonda Sabri of Longview, aunt, Brandi Johnson, uncle, Brandon Johnson of Gladewater, uncle, Stevan Beets of Kilgore, Amy Stewart of Longview, great-grandmother, Julia Means of Gladewater, and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving friends and family members.
