Carol Jackson

Funeral service for Mrs. Carol Jackson, 76, of Kilgore will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Alan Neal officiating. Burial will follow at the Kilgore Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home before services on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Carol was born on February 28, 1947, in Overton, Texas and she passed away on January 8, 2024, in Longview. Carol loved her Lord and lived her life for Him. She cherished her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carol was a hairstylist for many years, she was the owner of Kilgore Beauty Salon. She enjoyed playing card and board games and spending time with her family. Her family will always have fond memories of gathering around the table for her cooking and baking.

Carol Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Johnson Miles and Stella McCameron Miles; sister, Johnie Muriel; brother-in-law, Bob Neal.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Eddie Jackson of Kilgore; daughters, Belinda Blevins of Kilgore and Angela McClendon of Kilgore; grandchildren, Candace Davis (Chris), Bailey Munoz (Jose), Hannah Wieneke (Jay), Dillon McClendon (Ashley), and Jace McClendon; great-grandchildren, Madisyn Davis, Kirin Munoz, Gracie Thornburg, Kylan Munoz, Louie Thornburg, River McClendon, Cash McClendon and soon to be born Ryder McClendon; siblings Larry Miles, Shirley Wayne, Jean Murry and husband, Homer, Joyce Mizell and husband, Doyle, and Pat Neal and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
