Charlcie Lee Greenville Penny

Charlcie Lee Greenville Penny left this Earth to be with our Heavenly Father and to be reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her on January 16th, 2024.

Charlcie was born on December 30th, 1952 in Houston, Tx to Wanda Santori, and was raised by her mother and father, Charles and Elsie Ryder. She is survived by her daughter, Christy Greenville, her granddaughter, Morgan Greenville, Daughter-in-Law, Sara Greenville, stepchildren, Shawn Smith (Christi), Yvette Dauster, and Stacy Toomey (Mike), Cousins, Carl Bone (Tina), and Donnie Ryder (Tina), and many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death is her beloved son, Wesley Greenville, and beloved husband, John Penny, parents, Charles and Elsie Ryder, and Mother, Wanda Santori.

Longview has been her home for many decades and had a successful career in the insurance industry up until her retirement. She was a very active member of the Forest Home Baptist Church in Kilgore and ministered at the Gregg County Juvenile Center for 14 years. One of her most treasured accomplishments was leading young kids to Christ. Some of her favorite hobbies were fishing with her husband and Nascar, and some of her fondest memories were at the Penny family reunions.

A graveside service will be held for Charlcie Saturday, January 20, 2024, at two o’clock in the afternoon at Danville Cemetery in Kilgore, Texas.
