Cremation arrangements for Connie Ford Dement, 64, of Overton are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.

Connie was born on April 18, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio. She was the daughter of Dallas and Mary Ford. She grew up in the Columbus area, attended and graduated from Westerville North High School. Connie lived and worked in Cleveland and later the Atlanta area before making her home in Overton. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for many years. Connie enjoyed music and animals with a passion for dogs.

Connie is survived by her mother, Mary Ford of Overton; brothers, Jack Ford of Overton and Steve Ford of Ellinger; nephews, Donovan Ford of Denton, and Delano Ford of Ellinger; her beloved fur baby Hunter.
