Dana Phyllis Truckey

Funeral services for Dana Truckey, 46, of Yantis will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with Reverend Dick Dobbins officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore on Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M., one hour prior to service. Dana passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 in Tyler.

She was born on February 24, 1977 in Sturgis, Michigan to James Truckey and Veda Flowers. Dana was a graduate of Kilgore High School. She enjoyed butterflies, reading, hiking, cooking and animals. Dana was a loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who will be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Truckey.

Dana is survived by her mother, Veda Flowers of Kilgore; significant other, William Day of Yantis; sister, Shawn Smith of Kilgore; brother, Guy Flowers and wife Mylene of Port Charlotte, Florida; cousins, Holly Altman and Heather Stone; niece, Mackenzie Flowers and nephews, Ryan Flowers and Luke Flowers.
