Dee Anna Thompson

Graveside services for Dee Anna Thompson, 46 of Kilgore will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at one o’clock in the afternoon at Pirtle Cemetery with Pastor Lisa Mayhu and Pastor Garrel Faulkner officiating. Dee Anna completed her earthly journey on Thursday, March 30, 2023, in Kilgore with her loving sister by her side.

Dee Anna was born on April 22, 1976, in Longview to Danny Thompson and the late Sally Ann Litton Golden. She attended Spring Hill Independent School District in Longview and was a proud member of 1994 graduating class. She obtained her associates in business from Kilgore College. Dee Anna worked for the State of Texas in medical billing for numerous years. She was a devoted Christian and spent much of her time serving the Lord. Dee Anna’s hobbies included gardening, watching golf, attending concerts, and fishing with family. She was a caring daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her father Danny Thompson and wife Karon of Longview, sister Carla Oden and husband Matt Oden of Kilgore, daughter Danyelle Young Knapik and husband Marshall of Longview, grandson Noah Knapik of Longview, stepsister Leslie Wilhelm of Longview, stepbrother Mick Wilhelm of Dallas, one and only niece Madison Oden of Kilgore, and three special aunts Norma Caldwell of Houston, Dixie Posey of Brookshire, and Betty Downs of Longview.

Dee Anna was reunited with her mother Sally Ann Litton Golden.
