Delores Ann Parks

Delores Ann Parks, age 51, was born on September 12, 1968 and went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2020. Delores was born in Quanah, TX to the late James and Helen Parks and grew up in Quanah. Delores attended Quanah schools which she enjoyed very much. She participated in Special Olympics and won many ribbons. Delores had a big love for all animals, especially dogs, horses, and bulls. She loved watching rodeos on TV with her Dad. Her additional passion was drinking Diet-Cokes. Delores’ favorite season was Halloween. She could not wait each year to have her room decorated with skeletons and pumpkins. Delores made many very special friends during her lifetime. She always had a way to endear people to her. She had a fun sense of humor that always won people over.

Delores will be greatly missed by her brother, Ken and sister-in-law Dianne Parks of Kilgore; sister, Brenda and brother-in-law Robert Riggs of Quanah; sister, Linda Parks of Wichita Falls; sister, Joyce Gregory; nieces, Nikki Snider and husband Jeff of Prosper, Texas, Rhonda Wilson and husband Toby of Quanah; nephew, Justin Parks and wife Jamie of Lufkin, Texas and her aunt, Mary Lou Parks of Edmond, Oklahoma.

Delores is preceded in death by her loving parents, James and Helen Parks; grandparents, Hubert and Thelma Parks and Barney and Audie Weems; and brother, Ray Mahan.

Graveside services Delores Ann Parks will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2020 at Quanah Memorial Park Cemetery in Quanah, Texas with Rev. Wayne Hollingshead officiating under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.
