Dorothy Louise Brown

Services for Dorothy Brown, 93 of Kilgore will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with Reverend Freeman Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Brown passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at her residence.

Dorothy was born April 19, 1929, in Maypearl, Texas to the late Limuel Perry Tucker and Sally Edna Thompson. Dorothy was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading and cooking. She was a homemaker as well as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, E.E. Brown, daughter, Linda K. Edwards; sisters, Jessie Robins Leora Cox; brothers, Preston R. Tucker, Nolan G Tucker and Herbert D. Tucker.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Edward R. Brown and wife Pacita of Kilgore, Michael E. Brown of Kilgore, Anthony K. Brown and wife Claudine of Kilgore and Brian K. Brown of Kilgore; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.
