Ethel W. Baker

Graveside service for Mrs. Ethel Baker, 92, of Kilgore will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at the Kilgore Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Reverend David Hampton officiating. Mrs. Baker passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, in a Longview hospital.

Ethel was born on July 5, 1931, in Moorhead, Minnesota. She retired from the Boeing Company and later worked as a greeter at the Kilgore Wal-Mart. Ethel loved her family and will be missed.

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers; 1 sister; husband, Ed Baker; daughter, Vickie Martin; and grandson, Tony Martin.

She is survived by her son, Doug Poach of San Benito, CA; son-in-law, Jerry Martin of Kilgore; grandchildren, David Martin and wife Dana, Steve Martin and wife Kim, and Wendall Martin and wife Jonna, Alonzo Poach and wife JoAnn, and Marcos Poach; 10 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.
