Graveside Services for Evelyn McGill, 92, of Kilgore, will be held at 2pm on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Kilgore City Cemetery with Chris Vidacovich, a member of the Chandler Street Church of Christ, officiating. Evelyn passed away on June 6, 2020 in Longview.

Evelyn was born September 2, 1927 in Roxton, Texas to Bill and Ethel Foreman. She loved to cook, read, and line dance. She was also an avid shopper at Walmart. She spent her time at Arabella socializing with her friends and attending bible studies and church services. Evelyn loved to spend time with her family and loving on her grandbabies, great grandbabies, and great great grandbabies. And she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Joseph Copeland; and her second husband, Willie McGill; a granddaughter, Khristi Bryant; and a great grandson, Kirk Rhoton.

She is survived by four sons, Calvin Copeland and wife Jerri of Baytown, Joe Copeland and wife Janna of College Station, Robert Copeland and wife Debbie of Kilgore, and James Copeland and wife Jan of Grand Prairie; daughter, Mary Copeland Bryant of Irving; thirteen grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren; and two sisters, Rae Myers of Cleburne and Linda Edwards and husband Charles of Lampasas.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Texas Children’s Hospital in Evelyn’s name.
