Feliciano Martinez Rodriguez, 79, passed away at his home in Kilgore, Texas on July 22, 2024. Mass of Christian burial will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Kilgore on Friday, July 26 at ten o’clock in the morning. A rosary and visitation will be held the evening prior, Thursday, July 25 at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore from six until eight o’clock in the evening. 

Feliciano Martínez Rodríguez, de 79 años, falleció en su casa de Kilgore, Texas, el 22 de julio de 2024. Misa de entierro cristiano se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Católica Cristo Rey en Kilgore el viernes 26 de julio a las diez de la mañana. Se llevará a cabo un rosario y un velorio la noche anterior, el jueves 25 de julio, en Rader Funeral Home en Kilgore, de seis a ocho de la tarde.

Feliciano was born in Taxtho, Hidalgo, Mexico, August 6, 1944, the son of Fernando Cruz Martinez and Andrea Rodriguez Martinez. He married Teresa Rangel and together the two have a beautiful family they cherish deeply. A family man through and through, his life was spent surrounded by his family, spending every moment possible with each of his eight children and his beloved grandchildren. He took many trips to his hometown of Taxtho and remained close to his family still in Mexico. A simple and loving man, his favorite place was with his family, especially if he was able to cook his family a meal and share it all together. 

Feliciano nació en Taxtho, Hidalgo, México, el 6 de agosto de 1944, hijo de Fernando Cruz Martínez y Andrea Rodríguez Martínez. Se casó con Teresa Rangel y juntos tienen una hermosa familia que aprecian profundamente. Un hombre de familia de principio a fin, pasó su vida rodeado de su familia, pasando cada momento posible con cada uno de sus ocho hijos y sus queridos nietos. Realizó muchos viajes a su ciudad natal de Taxtho y permaneció cerca de su familia aún en México. Un hombre sencillo y cariñoso, su lugar favorito era con su familia, especialmente si podía cocinarle una comida y compartirla todos juntos.

Feliciano is survived by his wife, Teresa Martinez, their eight children; Patricia Martinez, Joaquin Martinez, Carmen Martinez, Alberto Martinez, Marcus Martinez, Lourdes Martinez, Alfredo Martinez, and Erica Martinez, his grandchildren, his sisters; Estella Martinez Rodriguez and Elena Martinez, and his brother Clemente Martinez, along with a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

A Feliciano le sobreviven su esposa, Teresa Martínez, sus ocho hijos; Patricia Martínez, Joaquín Martínez, Carmen Martínez, Alberto Martínez, Marcus Martínez, Lourdes Martínez, Alfredo Martínez y Erica Martínez, sus nietos, sus hermanas; Estella Martínez Rodríguez y Elena Martínez, y su hermano Clemente Martínez, junto con una gran cantidad de queridos sobrinos y sobrinas.
