Gary Lynn Procell left this world on December 1, 2024, surrounded by those who loved him dearly, daughters Stacy and Marni, sister Cheryl, cousin Cindee and brother-in-law Glenn.
Gary was born and raised in Kilgore and remained a kind-hearted and proud country boy who went on to serve in the Air Force. After serving, Gary went on to find success in the tech industry in Dallas and then spent many years with Vought Aircraft. His work ethic was as strong as they come, and he instilled that sense of duty in those closest to him. Gary loved planting vegetables and flower gardens, and you were always sure to find roses wherever he lived. Other joys included watching his Cowboys (although that could also cause much distress) and spending time with his four-legged partner, Diva and friends, of which he had many.
When his loved ones released his spirit to God, family members gone before were ready to receive him in heaven; his wife, LouAnn, his mom, Nell, his brother Glen and nephew Kyle Gibson.
Those left to remember his spirit included Diva, daughters Stacy Procell and Marni Roubal, his sister Cheryl Gibson and her husband Glenn, cousin, Cindee Graham, grandchildren Samantha, Justin and Eliana, four great-grandchildren and a plethora of friends.
Just as Gary was protective of his loved ones, they are now protective of his wishes. There will be no formal services at this time. He requested a celebration of life full of joy and fellowship. This will be held after February 2025 in the Kilgore area.
