A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from five until seven o’clock in the afternoon at Rader Funeral Home. Buddy passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024, in Longview, Texas.

Mr. Pittman was born in Beckville, TX, on October 11, 1931, to Delos and Daisy Pittman. He graduated from White Oak High School in 1948. Buddy was a jack of all trades and worked within the oil and gas industry for numerous years. He reconnected with his high school sweetheart and love of his life Betty Faye Hooper, and they married on May 6, 2000. It was also then that he dedicated his life to Jesus Christ and began serving the Lord daily. They faithfully attended Highland Park Assembly of God Church in Kilgore. Mr. Pittman was a people person, he truly spread kindness no matter the occasion. He enjoyed tinkering with anything that had a motor and spending time outdoors gardening. Buddy was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many, who will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Buddy is reunited with his wife, Betty Pittman, parents Delos and Daisy Pittman, daughter Carol, sister Edna McIntosh, brother Edward Eugene Pittman and grandsons Joe Lee Powell, Scotty McAllister, and Ryan Lewis.

Left to cherish his memory are his son Randall Pittman and wife Nadine, children by marriage, Theresa Welch and husband Ernie, Denise Llewellyn and husband Dave Tober and Michael Llewellyn and wife Tamara, grandchildren Thomas McAlister, Delos McAlister, Kimberly Renfro, Trey Welch, Emily Howard, Kevin Welch, Cynthia Welch, Haleigh Tober Scotty Campbell and numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
