Griselda Contreras

Mass of the Christian Burial for Griselda Contreras, 41 of Laird Hill will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Christ the King Catholic Church with Reverend John Henao, STL officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Cemetery. Mrs. Contreras passed away Friday, March 29, 2019.

Griselda was born May 6, 1977 in Buenavista, Mexico to Gavino Peréz and Juana Borrego. She was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Kilgore and was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, and sister who will be missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Hector Contreras of Laird Hill; children, Hector Guadalupe Contreras, Heriberto Contreras, Maria Marlen Contreras, Juan Diego Contreras and Maite de Guadalupe Contreras all of Laird Hill; parents, Gavino Peréz and Juana Borrego; sisters, Guadalupe Perez Borrego, Yolanda Perez Borrego and Baciliza Perez Borrego; brothers, Margarito Perez Borrego, José Luis Perez Borrego, Genovevo Perez Borrego and Adrian Perez Borrego and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members.

A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m., Friday April 5, 2019 at Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Kilgore. The family will receive friends immediately following the Rosary.
