Mr. Harry David Wickersham

Memorial services for Mr. Harry David Wickersham, 84, of Kilgore will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Eastview Church of God with Reverend Curtis Woods officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following services at the church. Cremation arrangement are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home.

Mr. Wickersham was born on October 12, 1936, in Longview and passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021, in Tyler. Harry was the son of the late Guy and Lottie Wickersham, He graduated from Longview High School. Harry served our country in the United States Army, stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He had been a faithful member of Eastview Church of God since he was 21 years of age. He worked at Trailmobile for 28 years, he was the last employee of the Longview Plant. Harry later worked for Coachman and Dollar General Store as manager of the Kilgore store. Harry loved God and his family. He enjoyed collecting coins and traveling. Harry was a real people person and was always willing to help where he could.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Donna Kay Clark; first wife, Nan Nelson Wickersham, brother, Mark Wickersham; sisters, Martha Ann Seals, and Josie Kay Robinson Derrick; grandson, Ben Adair; great-grandson, Mycal Page.

Harry is survived by his wife of Ruby Mae Wickersham of Kilgore, daughters, Renee Greenwood and husband Raymond of Mineral Wells, Tammy Sue Bohannon of Bettie, Debbie Parrish and husband James of Kilgore, and Pam Cantu and husband Sam of Kilgore; 10 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and friends.
