James Lee "Jim" Rossow

James Lee "Jim" Rossow, born on September 24, 1969, in Longview, Texas, passed away on March 17, 2025, in Henderson, Texas. He is remembered fondly by his family and friends for his unwavering faith and love for life.

Jim's journey through life was marked by a deep commitment to his work community. He dedicated years as a Mason in East Texas, where he earned the respect and admiration of those who had the privilege to work alongside him. He attended Kilgore High School; where he was a member of the High School Choir, played football, and made history by scoring the first goal in Kilgore High School soccer.

Known for his warmth and generosity, Jim was passionate about sharing his faith with family and friends. His hobbies reflected his love for the outdoors and spending time with loved ones, including hunting, fishing, hosting fish fry's and BBQs, and gardening. Mr. Jim was always looking out for his neighbors; especially Ms. Cleo and Ms. Catherine. His beloved Black Lab, Sadie, was always by his side, bringing additional joy to his life.

Jim's family holds him dear, and he is survived by his father, Richard Rossow, and his mother, Rebecca Garnier and her husband Darell. He was a devoted father to his sons, Trace Lee Rossow and Blake Abott Wright, and a proud grandfather to Austin, Rebeka, Wynona, and Raylynd Wright. He is also survived by his sister, Connie Wisnoski, and stepsiblings Jeremy, Shiloh, and Desiree Garnier. Jim cherished his extended family, which includes uncles Jimmie Harrell and wife Dian and Mike Wheeler and wife Linda, as well as nieces Lauren, Ashton, and Samantha Wisnoski, cousins Chris and Kim Harrell, Randall and Bill Wheeler; his second cousin Sue Johnson as well as many other loving family and friends.

Jim is preceded in death by his grandson Zane Wright.

The family remembers Jim as a loving and devoted individual, whose spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him. His legacy will be honored during visitation at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore, Texas, on March 22, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 3:00 PM. Jim's final resting place will be at Chalk Hill Cemetery in Henderson, Texas, where interment will take place following services.

Jim will be deeply missed, yet his memories will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
