Graveside services for Mrs. Jane Ann Moore Stone, 96, of Kilgore will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 10:30 A.M. at the Overton City Cemetery with Reverend Fred Parsons officiating. Mrs. Stone passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at her home in Kilgore.

Jane Ann was born on August 21, 1925, in Liberty, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Leigh Hardie Moore and Nan Howzel Moore. As a young girl and up into her teen years Jane loved spending weekends at her grandmother Coolidge’s home in Overton and attending Overton First United Methodist Church. She graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Education. The joy of her life was traveling with her late husband Glyn both domestically and international. Jane Ann loved all people and will be remembered for her kind and giving heart. She was a grand wife, mother, and sister.

Mrs. Stone is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Nelda Stone of Overton, Texas; sister, Shirley Moore Farrell of Indianapolis, Indiana; nieces and nephew, Lisa Farrell and husband Gary of Barrington, Vermont, Elain Howard and husband Tom of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Greg Farrell and wife Deb of Sherman, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Glyn Stone; son, Russell Stone, and brother-in-law, Martin (Marty) Farrell.
