Jannette Sammons Uicab

Memoria service for Ms. Jannette Sammons Uicab, 81, of Kilgore will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with Reverend Ashley Hord officiating. Jannette passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, in Longview following a lengthy illness.

Ms. Uicab was born on May 27, 1942, in Ethel, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Elizabeth Sammons. Jannette enjoyed gathering with the family on holidays and other special events and especially the weekly poker games.

Jannette is survived by her son, Donald McSpadden and wife Tina of Kilgore; daughter, Maria Sammons of Longview; brother, Gene Sammons and wife Rosie of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Joshua McSpadden of Kilgore and Carrie Yazzie and husband Leander of Lake Charles, LA; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Roselynn, Isiaha, and Elaina Yazzie; several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Edward Sammons and Clifford Sammons, sisters, Jovetta Rambo and Freddie Rosas.
