Norma Jean Byrum

Services at the graveside for Jean Byrum, 80, of Kilgore, will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 2 pm in the Danville Cemetery. Jean completed her earthly journey on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, in Kilgore. Her services have been entrusted to Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.

Jean was born on June 12, 1941, in Jacksonville, to Roy W. and Edna B. Austin. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, arts & crafts and studying genealogy. Her family was the source of her strength and spending time with them was when she was happiest.

Jean was reunited with her parents, husband Tom Byrum, brother William Leroy and sister Carolyn Ruth Austin.

Jean left to cherish her memory her sons, Dennis Byrum and Howard Byrum both of Kilgore; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Elia of Kilgore, Donna Graham of Dallas, Dee Conway of Kilgore. Also, left to carry on her legacy are numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other loving family members.
