Jerry Rosegrant

Services for Jerry Rosegrant, 65, of Kilgore will be at 5:00 P.M. Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. David Hampton officiating. Mr. Rosegrant passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at his home.

Jerry was born July 27, 1953 in Houston, Texas to the late Thomas Murrell Rosegrant and Elta Fern Livsey. Mr. Rosegrant was a member of the Danville Masonic Lodge #101 in Kilgore. He started working for the Kilgore Police Department in 1974 until his retirement in 2005. After his retirement he worked for Geonix Oilfield Products from August 2007 until May 2017. He graduated from West Rusk High School in 1971 and then attended Kilgore College. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Mr. Rosegrant is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David Rosegrant and Tom Rosegrant.

Jerry is survived by his brothers, Bobby Rosegrant of Lubbock, Texas; Phillip Rosegrant and wife Eveline of Niceville, Florida; sister-in-law Sheena Rosegrant of Houma, Louisiana; step-sister Lindia Fryar Kunze and husband Doug of Cuero, Texas; nieces and nephews, Jena Martinez of Yorktown, Texas, Charlotte Trew, Douglas Smith and Daylon Smith all of Lubbock, Texas, Lizzie Rosegrant of Euless, Texas, Alison Rosegrant of Fort Recovery, Ohio, Joel Rosegrant of Houma, Louisiana and other loving family members.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Chapel Thursday afternoon between 4:00 – 5:00 P.M.
