Cremation arrangements for Joan Marion Haney, 67, of Kilgore are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. Joan completed her earthly journey on March 29, 2024, at her home in Kilgore.

Joan was born on October 24, 1956, in Beaumont, Texas to the late Anna Mae Evans Hayles and Mahlon Elmar Hayles. She adored animals and had many fur babies ranging from dogs to chickens. Joan enjoyed gardening and spent much of her time outdoors. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Her absences will be felt by all those who had the pleasure of knowing Miss Joan.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents Anna and Mahlon Hayles and siblings Kathleen Rose Hayles, Robert Mahlon Hayles and Judith Eselle Hayles.

She is survived by her son Jason Mahlon Haney of Kilgore, siblings Marie Haynes of Kilgore, Cullen Hayles of Kilgore and Wilson Rock Hayles of Baytown, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
