Cremation arrangements for Mrs. Joni Ferguson, 69, of Kilgore are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Joni passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, surrounded by her family at her home in Kilgore.

Joni was born on March 4, 1954, in Refugio, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Wille and Dorothy Mowery. Joni was a member of the Highland Park Family Church. She worked many years at McKay’s Ranch House Restaurant in Kilgore. Joni loved to go fishing with her husband Allen. Joni will be missed by her family and many friends.

Joni was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John Willie, and George Mowery; and sister, Kay Copeland.

Left to cherish her memory are husband of 51 years Allen Ferguson of Kilgore; son and daughter-in-law, Archie and Crystal Ferguson of Kilgore; granddaughter, Sabrina Ferguson of Kilgore; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim and Linday Cowan; Tammie Ferugson, Reba Whatley, and Katch Goff all of Kilgore; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
