Katalina Rose Jacobo Fragozo was born on December 11, 2023, in Longview, Texas. She brought immeasurable joy and light to all who knew her until her passing on April 15, 2025, also in Longview, Texas.
Katalina’s vibrant spirit was a source of love and warmth that touched the lives of her family. Described as one of the most loving child you could ever meet, she was a true ray of sunshine throughout her brief life. Katalina’s parents, Aldo Jacobo and Karina Fragozo, cherished her deeply, and her mother loved to call her "Kata Rose" and her father affectionately referred to her as "mi fea mas bella." are left with a treasure of memories that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
Katalina is survived by her loving parents, Aldo Jacobo and Karina Fragozo; siblings, Yinetsy, Roxanna, Sherlyn, Kandie, Jayden, Kamila, Julian, Aldo Jr., Keylah, Mikaela and Khristopher; grandparents, Ovedo and Rosalina Jacobo and Maribel Ceja, as well as her great-grandfather, Miguel Jacobo. She also leaves behind a vast family of aunts and uncles, including Ovedin and Oralia Jacobo, Isela and Abel Olivan, Tanhia Jacobo, Daniel Jacobo, Miguel and Misty Fragozo, Daisy Fragozo, Stephanie Fragozo, and Raquel Flores, along with numerous cousins.
Katalina was preceded in death by her beloved siblings, Miracle, Angel, Francesca, and Katarina, her great-grandmother Guadalupe Galindo, and her grandfather Juan Fragoso. The bonds of love shared with Katalina were profound and will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
A funeral service honoring Katalina will take place on Friday, April 25, 2025, at San Pedro Fisherman Catholic Church in Tatum, Texas, starting at 10:00 AM. Following the service, a visitation will be held the same day at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the evening.
Katalina Rose Jacobo Fragozo will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the light she brought into our lives. Her legacy of love, warmth, and joy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family.
