Katie Fuller, a beloved resident of Brady, Texas, and former resident of Kilgore, Texas passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, at the age of 81, in Austin, Texas. Born on May 14, 1943, in Queen City, Texas, she was a cherished member of her family and community, known for her caring spirit and dedication to both her loved ones and her church.

Katie is survived by her cherished husband of 59 years, Doug Fuller of Brady, She is also survived by her children, Pam and Rev. Joe Shaw of Kilgore, Texas, Mark and Annette Fuller of Cleburne, Texas, Laquita and Shawn Pinkley of Longview, Texas, and Nathan Fuller of McAlester, Oklahoma, siblings, Dewayne and Carol Alexander, of Tyler, Texas, Betty and Charles Sanders, of Tyler, Texas, Willie and Belinda Alexander, of Abilene, Texas and Patsy Alexander of Tyler, Texas. Her legacy continues through her thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, along with many other family members and friends who were touched by her life.

Katie will be remembered for her generous nature, always willing to lend a helping hand, particularly at her church. She was a dedicated member of First Pentecostal Church in Kilgore, Texas for 43 years and had been an active member of Greater Life Church in Brady, Texas, for the past 9 years. Her love for her family and friends was known by everyone around her.

 In her leisure time, Katie enjoyed a variety of hobbies that reflected her nurturing spirit. She loved taking care of her plants, collecting knick-knacks and mementos, sewing, and cooking—the latter earning her fond memories among family and friends, especially her signature fried chicken and coconut cake. Katie was also an avid player of word games and board games, and she found joy in sharing her musical talents by playing the piano and organ for her church.

Katie was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Opal Alexander, and her brothers, Ray and Charlie Alexander. Her absence will be profoundly felt by those who knew and loved her.

Visitation for Katie will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Rader Funeral Home, located at 401 North Martin Street, Kilgore, TX 75662. A funeral service will take place the following day Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM at First Pentecostal Church, 516 Fritz Swanson Road, Kilgore, TX 75662, with burial to follow at Bascom Cemetery.
