Funeral services for Kevin Mitchell Williams, 36, of Liberty City, Texas will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 with visitation from 5-6 pm and services set from 6-7pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore Texas with Kevin Moyers officiating. Kevin has chosen to be cremated. There will not be a burial service this date.
Kevin was survived by his wife of 8 years, Ashely Hawkins Williams, daughters, Triniti Leona Grace, Kira Faye and Kylie Paige, Father Tony Williams, Mother Susan Rogers, Sister Grace Amber Svoboda, Niece Gracelynn and Nephew Collin, Grandparents Jack and Elizabeth Williams and Billie Sue Ballard, Aunts and Uncles and many cousins. He was preceded in death by Grandparents Ronnie Joe Ballard and Sheryl Susan Ballard, and Mother in Law Helen Hawkins.
Kevin at the time of his illness, was working for the Tempest Golf Club with his dad, Tony. He enjoyed working with this group of people for the past several years. Kevin has also in the past, worked as a mechanic. He had a great skill in auto and diesel mechanics.
Kevin loved spending time with friends and family. His heart’s desire, once his 2 oldest girls graduated was to move back to the coast. He enjoyed spending time fishing just about anywhere but loved the beaches. Kevin was very dedicated to stay in touch with his schoolmates. He was very close with several, even to the day he passed away. He also had a love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Kevin survived a devastating blood clot that cost him his leg the first of the year, but through the love of friends and family and prayer, he knew that a miracle had been given him for a few more months here with his family.
Kevin grew up in Fairfield Texas but ended up moving to Liberty City Texas to Graduate in 2006 at Sabine High School. This is where he first met his wife, Ashley, and later in 2016 married. One thing that sticks out in my mind, is him enjoying his chickens. This love trickled down from his Papa Ronnie Ballard. His Papa has always had his chicken huts.
We as his family will always remember his smile and laughter with his sense of humor. Kevin Mitchell, you were loved and will be missed always. We will meet again in the heavenly places when it is our time to go.
