Larry Wayne Bass

Funeral services for Mr. Larry Bass, 66, of Tyler will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Forest Home Baptist Church in Kilgore. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, October 27 at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore.

Larry was born on May 7, 1957, in Texas City and passed away on October 17, 2023, at his home in Tyler. He was a member of the graduating class at Kilgore High School in 1975 and graduated from Kilgore College. Larry retired as an Engineer Design Manager after 44 years from CB&I Howe Baker Engineers. He loved fishing and NASCAR. Larry was an avid sports fan of the Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys. Larry loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandkids.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Wayne Bass; grandparents, William and Lottis Mae Christian, Grady Bass and Marie Bass.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Dianna Stewart Bass of Tyler; mother, Sue Nell Bass of Kilgore; children, Chad Bass and wife Stacey of Tyler, Jason Bass of Tyler, and Melanie Bass Johnson of Flint; siblings, Terri Downing of Kilgore, and Tony and Sharron Bass of Kilgore; grandchildren, Ashley Bass husband Alex Williams, Preslie Rameriz and husband Kaden, Ashton Tarpley, Austin Johnson, Shelby Bass, Katie Johnson, Logan Bass, Khloe Bass, and Addison Bass, and.; great grandchildren, Abigal, Parker, and Maribel.
