Lillian Louise Arthur

Graveside services for Lillian Louise Arthur, 89, of Kilgore will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021, at 10am at Kilgore City Cemetery. Lillian went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 4, 2021, at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview.

Lillian was born on March 22, 1931, in Jefferson to Jack Wells and Dolly Tems Wells. She loved listening to music, watching hummingbirds, and painting ceramics. She worked as a clerk for Eckerd Drug where she retired after 8 years. Lillian was a devout Catholic and loved her family deeply. Her family was the most important thing in her life second to the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.C. Arthur Sr.; and daughter, Sheila Arthur.

Lillian is survived by a daughter; Jane Howard and husband Joel of Longview; son, J.C. Arthur Jr. of Kilgore; grandchildren, Ranetta Roberts of Longview, Deryl Roberts II and wife Anne of Hallsville, Megan Arthur of Longview, and John Arthur of Kilgore; great granddaughter, Blair Roberts of Hallsville; and daughter in law, Claudia Arthur of Longview.
