Mrs. Lori Ann Garcia, 53, of Kilgore passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at her home in Kilgore. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. 

 Lori was born on November 22, 1970, in Dallas to Glenn and the late Geneva Ann Honea. She graduated with honors from Kilgore College and worked as a Registered Nurse for over 20 years where her intellect and critical thinking saw her through a successful and multi-faceted career. While she enjoyed spending time doing other hobbies and activities, her heart always belonged to her beloved dogs and her cherished grandchildren who knew her as “Nana”. Lori is remembered by her family as being smart, quick-witted, with an unmistakable laugh and a unique sense of humor that her daughters are attempting to carry on. 

 Lori leaves behind a vast array of memories including her late-night Amazon impulse buys, her fondness for her “little yellow house”, her appreciation of a good muumuu, and her obsession with dachshunds and peach iced tea. She is deeply missed and survived by her daughters, Mariah LaGrone of Gilmer and Amanda Warlick of Liberty City; her grandchildren, Emma, Liam, Colt, Brooklyn, and Kate; and other family and friends. She is reunited in Heaven with her mother, Geneva, and with her fur babies, Izzy, Abby and Toto.
