Mary Elizabeth Copeland

Cremation arrangements for Mary Elizabeth Copeland, 47 of Kilgore are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore. The Graveside inurnment will be held at Kilgore Memorial Gardens at a later date. Mary Elizabeth completed her earthly journey on December 11, 2023, in Henderson, Texas.

Mary was born on March 30, 1976, to Launa “Betsy” Dalton and Ronald E. Copeland in Overton, Texas. She received her GED from Kilgore High School and attended cosmetology school afterwards. Mary worked in healthcare as a nurse’s aide for numerous years. She adored poodles and had them her entire life. Mary enjoyed the comfort of her own home and being indoors. Mary loved everyone she met; she would have done anything for anyone. She was a loving mother to two children, Erica, and Ashton. Mary was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and sister-in-law. She will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother Launa “Betsy” Dalton of Kilgore; children Erica Danielle Garza- Hansford and husband Austin Hansford and Ashton Tyler Reece of Kilgore; siblings Matthew Copeland and wife Virginia of Liberty City, Micheal David Copeland and wife Cindy of Franklin, Texas, and Sarah Copeland of Dallas; grandchildren Ryleigh Garza, Remmi Garza, Rowyn Garza, and Redding Hansford and fiancé Bryon Hillman. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was reunited with her father Ronald E. Copland, and paternal and maternal grandparents.
