Services for Mary Lynn Latham, 77, of Liberty City, will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Mary Lynn passed away peacefully on Monday, April 1, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.


Mary Lynn was born on April 1, 1947, in Kilgore, Texas. Mary Lynn was a graduate of Kilgore High School and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Kilgore. Mary Lynn worked for Good Shepherd Medical Center as Labor and Delivery nurse prior to working for many years in the banking industry where she retired in 2017 from Kilgore National Bank. As a true servant of Christ, Mary Lynn was a faithful in the music ministry. She began playing the piano for the church as a teenager. She was always available to play for Weddings & Funerals and her angelic voice accompanied by her piano playing was often heard as well. Mary Lynn enjoyed crocheting and cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed deeply by all that knew her.


In passing, Mary Lynn was reunited with her parents, Harry Anderson Leroy and Mary Lois Reid; stepdad, Andrew Eads, husband, Robert Latham, daughter, Renee Santiago, great grandchild, Kayden Bradley.


Mary is survived by her children, Robert Anderson “Andy” Baxter and fiancé Tabitha Chamberlain, Robert Latham II and wife Angela of Tyler, Leanna Parker and fiancé Jay Green of Longview, and Danny Latham and wife Amanda of Kilgore; sister, Peggy Ann Velvin of Baker, Louisiana; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, along with many other family and friends.


In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to charity of your choice.
