Michael Shane Donald

Graveside services for Shane Donald, 56, of Tyler will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Kilgore Cemetery. Shane passed away on May 27, 2024, in Tyler.

Shane was born on January 25, 1968, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview. He was the son of Clyde Vernon “Rick” Donald and the late Marie Elizabeth “Johnson” Donald and grandson of the late Clyde and Pauline Donald of Liberty City and Tyrus and Rose Johnson of Kilgore.

Shane attended St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Kilgore as a young person and at the time of his death was attending The Cowboy Church in Tyler. Shane served his country in the United States Army and was deployed in the 1st Gulf War. He was employed at Coker Trailer in Tyler.

Shane is survived by his children; Wyatt Donald, Brodey Donald, and Ciera Marie Donald; father, Clyde “Rick” Donald; brother, Bradley Donald and wife Ann Margaret; uncle, Randy Donald and wife Betty; nephew, August Sebastian Donald; niece, Isabella Lucianna Donald; cousins, Terrell, Travis, Trenton, and Audrey; along with other family and friends.
