Mike White

Mike White, a devoted family man and successful business owner, passed away on September 23, 2024, in Longview, Texas, at the age of 72. Born on August 4, 1952, in Marshall, Texas, Mike grew up instilled with the values of hard work and dedication that would later influence both his personal and professional life.

The proud owner of Pipe Maintenance Inc., Lone Star Rig, Kilgore WAG, Kilgore-Air, Tubular Mills, and Complete Pipe Service. Mike carved out a legacy in the business community that will not be forgotten. His accomplishments in the Oil Field industry were a testament to his unwavering commitment and determination. Yet, beyond his professional endeavors, he will be cherished as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

 Mike's heart was always with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Teri White, and their children—Michael White, Jr., McKinnon White, Kutter White, Heather (Scott) Young, Angela White-Guynn, Jessica Dirksen, Lauren Dirksen, and Natalie Dirksen. Family gatherings brought him immense joy, and they are left with countless memories of laughter, love, and warmth shared with a devoted father. Mike's legacy continues with his grandchildren: Lane (Siara) Guynn; Jett Young; Jaxon Young; Keagan Young; Ryan Alfonso; Layla Alfonso; and Ezra Alfonso, alongside his great-grandchildren, Kamden, Lauralia, Alistair, Kyden, Karcyen, Zane, Blaze, Zadie, and Zaylee, who brought him an abundance of pride and happiness. In addition to his immediate family, Mike is survived by his brother Kevin (Carrie) Washburn, sister Theresa (Ronnie) Nix, and our lovely Aunt Nancy Walker, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Mike was known for his adventurous spirit, with a passion for hunting, golfing, fishing, and hot rod cars. He was an ardent supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, reveling in the camaraderie that being a fan brought him and his friends. His joy for life, coupled with his enthusiastic hobbies, endeared him to many.

 Mike was preceded in death by his father, Latha Barrett White; mother, Laverne Washburn; brothers Barry White, Pat White and Steve White; grandson Alex Snyder; wife Vicki White, and the best dog ever "Dawg". The love shared with those no longer with us remains in the hearts of his family and friends.

 A visitation to honor Mike’s life will be held on September 30, 2024, at 401 N Martin St, Kilgore, TX from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.. All who knew him are welcome to come and share their stories, paying tribute to a man whose spirit was as big as his heart. Mike White’s legacy will undoubtedly live on through the lives he touched and the love he fostered. Mike's family will lay him to rest with love at a private ceremony.
